Last I blogged was a long time ago and ALOT has happened. By alot I mean I fianlly accepted the realization that I'm pregnant, 5 months now, surprise, surprise! Next Tuesday hopefully, we'll be finding out if it's a boy or a girl. People are more anxious than me but I figure, might as well know early on, besides, I am so done with surprises. Only the Lord knows why and His purposes are way greater than how we think things should be and so our Bood-ventures are only sure to pile up on me. I'll blog as much as I could now that finally retrieved my username and password to this. Did I mention, it's been a while since I've blogged?
The Wormy is such a good big boy, he sings his abc's everywhere we go now, at the top of his lungs. I couldn't spell out his pronownciation (I think I spelled it right) of most of the letters in his wormy alphabet you just gotta hear him sing it. My favorite letter of his would have to be "papoowee" (translation "W"). And the only difference between "V" and "Z" although they both sound like "V", the "Z" includes an extra effort in his facial expression when he says it, so you can definitly tell which letter he's actually refering to. He still does his own thing, always swimming agaisnt the current and not cooperating with the rest of civilized society, doing just as his strong character dictates but we pray the the Lord will use that for His glory growing up, He created him like that so we trust He will.
AND! oh my goodness! After such long struggle and countless set backs, I am so proud to announce that my Worm officially potty trained!!! Yesterday he even made "apu" at his Ama's house, which is huge since he only used to make apu in his potty seat here at home (Dr. Oz calls that 'safe toilet syndrome'). Well, he's got 2 safe toilets to go in now. We are hitting major milestones here. And what's awesome about that is I can now register him for pre-school for the fall, at least a couple days a week to establish some kind of routine for when the new baby comes. Our due date is October 6, by the way.
Anyway, now I'm going to see if I remember how to get some pictures up for you all to see. I'm going to strive to take more pictures from now on. All the ones I have are still in the camera. I probably took ten whole shots from our trip to Chicago, an embarrasment compared to Brandi's 52 million shots she took on their outing to Lion Country Safari. When she sends me those I'll have more to post but for now these are some I took when we went last month for Abby's wedding.
